Name-Dropping Never Felt So Good: Syscoin Partners with Syscoin Name Service

We are pleased to announce our newest partnership with Syscoin Name Service, a dedicated team focusing on NFT Domains built on Syscoin. This collaboration marks a significant stride towards enhancing the flexibility and functionality of our platform, equipping users with a diverse array of new features.

Syscoin Name Service offers an array of compelling tools, including NFT avatars, customizable profile pages, the ability to manage an unlimited number of subdomains (provided the main domain name is owned by the user), and support for cross-chain transfers of NFT Domains. Additionally, they enable users to host decentralized websites on IPFS, accessible via NFT Domains.

As part of this collaboration, Syscoin Name Service will introduce their NFT Domains to Rollux, offering an opportunity for users to buy and sell these unique assets. They are also set to manage the Rollux testnet and mainnet faucet. Moreover, Syscoin Name Service is creating subdomains and URL shortening services for Rollux.

The collaboration is bolstered by joint marketing efforts and shared blog posts. Together, Syscoin and Syscoin Name Service aim to deepen the Syscoin ecosystem, especially with our NFT Marketplace, Luxy, and Rollux, our Layer 2 scalability solution.

The partnership will roll out over the coming months. By June, we expect to see an updated Rollux Faucet, the rollux.id website launch, and the testnet dApp for .rollux domains. In July, we anticipate the release of the mainnet dApp .rollux, integration of ENS's L2 domain resolution solution for rollux.id, and the deployment of the Rollux Shorter URL solution on testnet.
